YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE! (1 of 5)
It is so easy to lose sight of others around us when we are personally experiencing challenging situations!
If we are not careful we may think and act as though "I am the only one" encountering this particular circumstance.
We have seen how "Other People" (not you of course, ) react in times of trouble; they think that everyone else should stop whatever they are doing and focus their attention on them and their predicament.
If we are not careful, "Other People" (not you of course), will be offended if we don't attend their "Pity Party" and listen attentively as they attempt to explain EVERY SINGLE DETAIL OF THE SITUATION THAT IS HAPPENING TO THEM!

YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE! (2 of 5)
People just seem to ignore the fact that they are not the only ones experiencing "LIFE ISSUES"!
EACH INDIVIDUAL, whether they are rich, successful, popular, live in an exclusive home , or wear fine clothing must decide on a daily basis how they will handle each day's challenges.
Even the great Apostle Paul testified in 2 Corinthians 1:8-NLT- I think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and completely overwhelmed, and we thought we would never live through it.
The Darby Bible Translation states: We were excessively pressed beyond our power, so as to despair even of living. Paul's sharing proves that no one is exempt from "Life's Challenges"!
This is precisely why we should not complain and sing the blues to EVERYONE about EVERYTHING we are experiencing!
Rather, we have the command of 1 Peter 5:9- Take a firm stand against him (Satan), and be strong in your faith.
Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.

YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE! (3 of 5)
Even though we are told in V. 8- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: this does not imply that any one person has a monopoly on trials and tribulations.
Unfortunately, some persons attempt to mask their true feelings and experiences thus causing self-destruction from within because they don't disclose their innermost thoughts to trusted confidants.
However, there are "Other People" whose demeanor during adversity would seem to communicate that they never experience difficult times. But, yes they do!
It's just that these persons are continuously learning that they can endure much longer and gracefully if they embrace 1 Peter 5:7- Casting all your care upon Him (God); for He careth for you.
NLT- Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about what happens to you.
Doing this, Trusting God and Praising Him, no matter what, is our Tow Truck out of the ditch of difficult times!

Each situation we "Go Through" during challenging times provides us with growth and faith-building opportunities!
Our Lord God in Isaiah 48:17 states: This is what the LORD, your Defender, the Holy One of Israel, says: I am the LORD your God. I teach you what is best for you. I lead you where you should go.
KJV- I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit.
In difficult times, Daddy-God teaches us what not to do, what to change, what to do and what to learn.
Subsequently, the greatest lesson to be learned is of His faithful and enduring love for us in the midst of our pain!
At the end of each "Challenging Time", God will be able to say to us as written in: Isaiah 48:10-Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Bible Scholar Barnes explains this as meaning that God uses these afflictions for the same purpose for which fire is used in regard to metals, in order that every impurity in our moral and religious character might be removed.

Therefore, don't choose to have a Pity Party, but rather a Growth Party so that
Paul's testimony will be our testimony as stated in 2 Corinthians 1:9-In fact, we
expected to die. But as a result, we learned not to rely on ourselves, but on God
who can raise the dead. REMEMBER: YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING
THROUGH SITUATIONS!

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!
When Jesus died on the cross, He was thinking of you!

It's an online phone directory (like White Pages.com) but it contains very personal information about you - everything from pics you've posted on FB or web, your approximate credit score, your home value & location, your income, age, etc.
You can remove yourself by searching your name, click on your link and & copy the URL of your page (at the top), then go to the bottom right corner of the page and click on the Privacy button and paste the URL into the field to remove yourself.
They will then email you a link confirming your removal from the directory, and once you click on the link you should be gone. |

Anyone-using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton Please send it to everybody you know who has Access to the Internet.
You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled "Here you have it"
If you open the file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful....'
Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC, And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your Name, e-mail and password.
This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software's are not capable of destroying it.
The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'. |
