The Kenneth Foster Story

 Ken Foster

Bio:     Kenneth Foster is the preacher/actor and artist who performs, "The Book of Mark". Minister Kenneth Foster is the founder of Match Flame Productions and The Mark Drama Ministry, Minister Foster thanks everyone who has and will support......

Many years ago, Kenneth was asked  if he would consider performing "The Book of Mark," as a way of showing God his appreciation for salvation.  He was living in San Antonio, in a Christian rehabilitation center, when He decided to change his life and live for Christ.  Even then, he thought to perform an entire book of the Bible, especially one of the four Gospels, to be foolish, if not impossible.

But there is nothing too hard for God. Besides,   The idea of one actor standing onstage performing one of the Gospels intrigued and inspired him.

You will witness the miracle that God has done in his life, as He perform, "The Book of Mark."  You will Enjoy this phenomenal production, as he fulfill a promise that was made many years ago.

 Greetings!

                                     Don't Be Ridiculous!       (1 of 5)

People are quick to give their opinions, whether solicited or not, regarding decisions that others are considering or may have already made. They are quick to demand and instruct them to "Don't Be Ridiculous" in their decisions and actions!

Many times because of their experiences or knowledge, wisdom is provided in their advice. However, because their offer of advice may come through a spirit of self-righteousness, it is not readily accepted most of the time by adults or children.

The self-righteous spirit is condescending and arrogant and often acts as if it is such an expert that it even advises Daddy-God on how to run HIS universe! It is the opposite of a humble, loving and caring spirit and usually spews out from jealousy, hatred, low-esteem or other negative issues of the sharer.

The self-righteous spirit can even be motivated by fear for the person or of one's own fears.  A person may eventually admit and arrive at the conclusion the advice offered was the most feasible solution, but this usually comes after the person has experienced firsthand a situation they were seeking to avoid.

This challenges those giving advice to be careful how advice is offered so that it doesn't contribute to others rejecting good, sound wisdom.

Don't Be Ridiculous!  (2 of 5)

not listening

Additionally, there are other occasions that present themselves in which we must make and follow our decisions! There are some conclusions and decisions in our lives we must make in which we are fully persuaded regardless of what other people think!

These are the times we must be willing to accept whatever consequences may arise as we become Trail-Blazers plowing open the way of opportunity for other persons less able or daring.

Such was young David in 1 Samuel 17- NLT- V.32-"Don't worry about this Philistine (Goliath)," David told Saul. "I'll go fight him!"

Man rebuking boy

V.33-"Don't be ridiculous!"Saul replied. "There's no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win! You're only a boy, and he's been a man of war since his youth.

V. 34-But David persisted. "I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats," he said. "When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock,

V.35-I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death.

V.36-I have done this to both lions and bears, and I'll do it to this pagan Philistine, too, for he has defied the armies of the living God!

V.37-The LORD who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine!" Saul finally consented. "All right, go ahead," he said. "And may the LORD be with you!"

Don't Be Ridiculous!  (4 of 5)

We must be persuaded as V.37 implies: THE LORD WHO RESCUED ME FROM THE CLAWS OF THE LION AND THE BEAR WILL RESCUE ME FROM THIS PHILISTINE! Then look our Goliaths in the face and boldly declare:

V.45-David replied to the Philistine, "You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven's Armies--the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

head cup off

V.46- Today the LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!

V. 47-And everyone assembled here will know that the LORD rescues His people, but not with sword and spear. This is the LORD's battle, and He will give you to us!"

sling shot

 V. 50-So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword.

V. 51-Then David ran over and pulled Goliath's sword from its sheath. David used it to kill him and cut off his head. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they turned and ran.

V. 52-Then the men of Israel and Judah gave a great shout of triumph and rushed after the Philistines, chasing them...

Dr. Helen Mendes Love

Dear Doctor:

In the past, I was sometimes unfaithful to my wife. She has forgiven me. For the past two years, I have been trying to be a good husband. She and I get along great until she talks to her girl friends. Most of them are not Christians. They tell her she is a fool to trust me. Recently, my wife has called a psychic who told her that I'm having an affair with a woman. This woman is only a close friend. Because of what her friends and the psychic are telling her, my wife is suspicious and constantly accuses me of cheating on her. What can I do? Sincerely,A Faithful Husband

Dear Faithful Husband;
Your past adultery severely damaged your marriage. Your wife's decision to forgive you is crucial to the healing of your marriage. However, (Click below to see Dr. Love's complete response!

Don't Be Ridiculous!          (3 of 5)

Daddy-God has given each of us experiences of past victories to grow our faith in Him!

Victories which we could only attribute to His faithfulness to us, enabling us to do the super-natural!  He has provided us with spring boards of faith and assurance to launce boldly into our current and future experiences!

man diving and spring board

Saul told David he would not be able to accomplish such a victory because of David's limitations (No strength of body, or skill in military affairs); he was a boy (14-20 years old) and because of Goliath's long-term experience (warlike genius and practice) as a warrior.

However, each time we eye our limitations and don't keep our eyes of faith in God it hinders us in experiencing victories and blessings over the "Goliaths" before us.

men giants

Whenever we are faced with a Goliath (a heartless, seemingly impossible, unfriendly giant of a challenge) we must do as David did in V.34; be persistent in our faith and past experiences.

Let us pause, reflect and remember how the Good Lord brought us through when we should have lost our minds or suffered death; but we did not!

celebration spark hope

Know that our faith will spark other people's faith in what and in whom we believe, in Our God, and they will have to do as Saul and the people did; finally decide to take courage and fight!

All Daddy-God desires is an opportunity to prove who He is, what He can do and what He will do on "A CONSISTENT BASIS" if we surrender our lives to His Lordship!

crowd

May each of us choose to be in our challenges as David was in his; realizing that others are looking on and will be strengthened and challenged by our faith to believe in our Heavenly Father!

So "Yes, Be Ridiculous" in your faith in Daddy-God!

"Yes, Be Ridiculous" in your boldness and declarations in Him!

yes

"Yes, Be Ridiculous" to believe and trust Him no matter what challenges comes into your life!

Yes, Yes, Yes, DO BE RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Who Is One Faith Fellowship?

Dr. Elaine Walton

Are you feeling "stuck" in any area of your life?  Have you noticed a difference in the relationships with those you love and care about?  Is your past negatively impacting your life?  While I do not have all the answers for you, I do want to be there as you explore changes that will benefit you emotionally, personally and spiritually.

Here is your chance to ask
Dr. Elaine Walton
questions that are important to you!!!

Dear Dr. E.,
Is a man more likely to abuse his wife/girlfriend if his father was an abuser?  W.B.

Dear W.B.,
Thank you for asking such an important question! Research supports that those who experience or witness abuse are more likely to be abusers. Part of developing a healthy relationship is knowing your partner's history of violence. Dr. E.

Dear Dr. E.,
How do you know if your relationship can be saved?  A.S.
