Nestled in Jesus' Arms
To nestle means to lie closely and snugly, to settle into a position that feels comfortable, warm and is safe and sheltered.
This is the position where one doesn't have to be on guard for their care and protection and still enjoy peace and safety!
As our lives change, children grow up and leave home, the divorce or death of a spouse, the disappointment or end of a close friendship, etc;
we may experience a sense of loneliness or fear because now we must face life without those significant and dear persons around us.
In life we experience various changes which will impact and provoke us
to rethink our "Game Plan for Survival".
As one matures in life, we conclude no matter how we might attempt to fight against it or stop it, "CHANGE IS INEVITABLE"!!
We learn that it is useless to attempt to design our lives to be void of difficult times, readjustments and disappointments! |
Nestled in Jesus' Arms
Jesus knew that there would be difficult times in life!
Therefore, He provided the "Solution" prior to our need as stated in Matthew 11:28
NLT-- Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens,
and I will give you rest."
Although Jesus is offering salvation, He is also extending the "Solution" when we experience the weariness of financial, emotional, physical or other burdens. Jesus invites us to come unto Him!
As Jesus is described in Mark 9:36- as taking a child in His arms, He desires that we allow Him to take us into His arms!
He desires that we "Nestle in His Arms" and lie closely and snugly and settle into a position that feels comfortable, warm and is safe and sheltered.

Matthew 11:29 KJ-Take my yoke (submission to His Lordship) upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
In order to hear the "Invitation of Solution" and to be instructed in how to "Nestle in Jesus' Arms", we must learn of Him; that He loves us, can be trusted and is faithful!
We must learn that Jesus does care and is mindful of us as indicated in 1 John 5:14--And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us:
v. 15-And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
We learn of His commitment as found in Isaiah 41:1-NLT--Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
We learn what He promises in John 14:27-Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Nestled in Jesus' Arms
We learn that we can truly experience Psalm 3:5-NLT- I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me.
From learning of Jesus we discover Psalm 27:5- For in the time of trouble He shall hide us in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me.
In learning of Jesus, we discover our true source of security as stated in Psalm 121:2--My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3b- He that keepeth thee will not slumber. (NLT-the One who watches over you will not sleep.)
4- Indeed, He who watches over Israel never tires and never sleeps.
5- The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
7- The LORD keeps you from all evil and preserves your life.
8- The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

SO, NO! We don't have to fret, be fearful, feel hopeless, uncovered or unprotected!
NO, NO, NO!! When we learn of Jesus we will believe and trust what He says!
We will accept His invitation to "Nestle in His Arms"; in that comfortable, warm, safe and sheltered place. Bless you!

Strategic Defaults' Can Damage Credit for Years
Home owners who choose to default on their mortgage even though they can afford the monthly payments can expect to take a significant hit to their creditworthiness, some credit rating firms say.
A record of the default - initially as much as 200 points - stays on a credit report for seven years. This will have an impact on the defaulter's ability to get credit of all kinds and potentially his or her ability to buy insurance and even get a job.
The debt that foreclosure erases may be considered income, and Uncle Sam may want to collect taxes.
"It's by no means a move to be undertaken lightly," says Maxine Sweet, vice president of public education for Experian.

I loved the latest newsletter! AS USUAL. L A
Bless you Dr. Lewis on this day, for another inspiring newsletter. I am always touched by the scripture John 10:10, (after the thief part), where Jesus says I come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Dr. Creflo Dollar has a way of elaborating that abundant life when he says, in abundance, to the fullest, till it overflows.  What a joy and an honor to know JESUS! I shall continue to prosper in his name. Without him, I would be like a ship without a sail. And it is too bad, I'm a little too far away to audition for the Norman Hutchin concert, if his concert was closer to Ohio, I probably would join in the chorus singing with him "It's your season to be bless!" I really enjoy that song, and as it goes on to say: God made you a promise and you stood the test, windows of heaven pour you out a blessing, It's your season to be bless." Take care Dr. Lewis, have a glorious day in the Lord, until next time, shall I be touched and uplifted once again by the One Faith Fellowship Ministry. A M
