Do You Want to Prosper?
Prosper literally means "to have a good journey, to favor and to make successful.
The desire of most people is to prosper, be successful, happy and fulfilled, especially when we have witnessed a quality of life enjoyed by others which we are not experiencing.
However, when we review our individual means and resources, we quickly dismiss the desire that our lives will ever be more than what exists currently.
We rebuke the thought of a more fulfilling life as though it is wrong to desire it.
This is even during those times when the Spirit of God reminds us of John 10:10- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly
(NLT-My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.)
While this verse actually contrasts the objective of Jesus and false shepherds, it also reveals that Jesus gives a new meaning to living.
He provides full satisfaction and perfect guidance.

Do You Want to Prosper?
It is only when we follow Jesus Christ that we will have a good journey; favored and successful.
The Word of God challenges us to trust Him and to believe that He really does have a fulfilling life planned for us.
We truly must believe every aspect of the Word of God. We must know that what He says to us is what we can experience.
Psalm 1:3---And he (Christians) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
When we are submitted Christians of Jesus Christ; He causes us to prosper and to have the confidence that in everything Daddy-God will cause all things to work together for our good, which will produce a good journey!
Joshua 1:7--Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee:
turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest
(Do not turn away from the law and you will be successful in everything you do).

Do You Want to Prosper?
1 Chronicles 22:13--Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the
statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel:
be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
The reason we can be courageous and not dismayed over our CURRENT quality
of life is found in Isaiah 54:17- No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is]
of me, saith the LORD . |

Do You Want to Prosper?
We can certainly trust in the following Scriptures:
Genesis 24:40- And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send His angel with thee, and prosper thy way...
Genesis 39:3- And his master saw that the LORD [was] with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand--
3 John 1:2---Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
This is not a guarantee of continuous wealth and great health to all Christians for each of us has a cross to bear.
Nevertheless, even as we encounter the crosses of life; God will prosper us in
our experiences of peace, rest and comfort knowing that in eternity, we will not
have any crosses to bear.
Sadly, some Christians live in poverty and disease simply because they do not seek God's best, follow God's principles, and walk in faith.
Daddy-God has not promised to satisfy all the cravings of the body, but to supply all the cravings of the renewed sanctified soul which is
the desire to know, love, live for and to please Him.

Do You Want to Prosper?
Take heed of the warning in 2 Chronicles 13:12-
O children of Israel fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.
We can't fight against the Lord through sins of commission and omission.
Isaiah 55:11-So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but
it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
(NLT...it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.)
God's Word always succeeds and accomplishes His intended purpose for it has Power and it never fails!
It shall prosper in the purpose God has for it.
Live in the faith of God's Word, apply it to your life and experience a good, favored and successful journey!
