WARNING, WARNING-- Don't You Dare!
Many people refer to God
Almighty as solely being a loving, kind, understanding and tolerant God;
therefore, they conveniently and erroneously conclude that He will
accept anything we choose to think, say, do or believe.
Another
misconception from the pit of hell is that because God is as described
in the 1st two sentences, then of course we don't have to be
concerned about any type of judgment from Him.
This
could not be farther from the truth! As the
Bible, God's Holy Word speaks of His love for us; it also warns us of
what HE DOES NOT TOLERATE, UNDERSTAND or WILL ACCEPT.
Amongst the
Bible's list of unacceptable behavior is to not believe in or trust Him even after
He has miraculously shown Himself to be present and faithful in our
lives.

WARNING, WARNING-- Don't You Dare!
It
is displeasing to Daddy-God for us to worry about any issue in our
lives; but rather to be obedient to His word as written in
1 Peter 5:7-Casting all your care upon
Him; for He careth for
you.
NLT-Give all your worries and cares to God, for He
cares about what happens to you.
David
Guzik, Christian author, comments-. "True humility is shown by our ability to
cast our care upon God.
It is proud presumption to
take things into our own worry and care about things that God has promised to
take care of."
Sometimes we need
to call worry exactly what
it is; pride and unbelief, and a desire to usurp God's place as our
providing, caring Father."

"WARNING, WARNING, DON'T YOU DARE
God has left on record the Israelite account of how He responds when His people make choices that are contrary to how He has ordained for us to feel, think or act.
Let's note the New Living Translation of Numbers 14th chapter.
3- "Why is the LORD taking us to this country only to have us die in battle? Our wives and little ones will be carried off as slaves! Let's get out of here and return to Egypt!"
4- Then they plotted among themselves, "Let's choose a leader and go back to Egypt!"
7- They said to the community of Israel, "The land we explored is a wonderful land!
8- And if the LORD is pleased with us, He will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey, and He will give it to us!
9- Do not rebel against the LORD, and don't be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the LORD is with us! Don't be afraid of them!"
10- But the whole community began to talk about stoning Joshua and Caleb. Then the glorious presence of the LORD appeared to all the Israelites from above the Tabernacle.
11- And the LORD said to Moses, "How long will these people reject me? Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?
12- I will disown them and destroy them with a plague. Then I will make you into a nation far greater and mightier than they are!"
21- But as surely as I live, and as surely as the earth is filled with the LORD's glory,
22- not one of these people will ever enter that land. They have seen my glorious presence and the miraculous signs I performed both in Egypt and in the wilderness, but again and again they tested me by refusing to listen.
23- They will never even see the land I swore to give their ancestors. None of those who have treated Me with contempt will enter it.

WARNING, WARNING-- Don't You Dare!
God had
delivered the people of Israel out of slavery in Egypt, miraculously
delivered them at the Red Sea, audibly displayed His presence at Mount
Sinai,
provided daily care including manna in the wilderness and now He
had brought them to Kadesh Barnea, the threshold of the Promised Land.
Even after experiencing all of those blessings, they did not endure to
the end and believe God's promise of power and
protection.
Consequently, the people
refused to trust God and to enter into the Promised Land of Canaan.
By virtue of their belief, Scripture tells us only
Joshua and Caleb who had left Egypt entered into the Promised Land.
So,
our subject "WARNING, WARNING, Don't You Dare" is appropriate counsel.
After all
that each of us has experienced of the love, faithfulness and grace of
Daddy-God, we must choose to believe Him, to rest in Him and to trust
Him!
We must have faith and declare that He loves
us and daily showcases His love for us!
Additionally, by His Word and
promises given to us in advance He gives us every reason to rely
on Him in the current seasons of our lives, WHATEVER we are
experiencing!

Psalm 4:3-You can be sure of this: The LORD
has set apart the godly for Himself. The LORD will answer when I call to
Him.
5- Offer proper sacrifices, and trust in the LORD.
6- Many people
say, "Who will show us better times?" Let the smile of your face shine
on us, LORD.
7- You have given me greater joy than those who have
abundant harvests of grain and wine.
8- I will lie down in peace and
sleep, for You alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.
Psalm
37:3- Trust in
the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
4- Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires
of thine heart.
5- Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust Him, and
He will help you.
"Warning, Warning! Don't You Dare" not believe and
trust Him
They will fly high on wings like eagles. They
will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
THEREFORE,
Wait! Wait! Wait ON THE LORD!
