"THIS TIME VICTORY"
Isn't it a blessing that today we have a new opportunity to do what we have started so many times before and ended with defeat?
Some of the areas we have disappointed ourselves in by not fulfilling our resolutions are; returning to school to begin or complete those few credits needed to obtain our degrees, remodeling our homes, establishing a committed prayer and devotional time, attending mid-week church services, enrolling in gym or dance classes or decisions not to be self-centered.
Other areas to assess may involve initiating the reunion of estranged family members, to begin being financially prudent, establishing a new eating and exercise program or to accomplish that long overdue task, etc.

"THIS TIME VICTORY"
In spite of those past times of defeat, there is yet GREAT NEWS!
We have been blessed with "Today" and given another opportunity to accomplish our goals! No matter how many previous times we have experienced setbacks, with the help of the Good Lord and the determination to accomplish the goal, we can experience a "This Time Victory" as the outcome!
We can't live in the past tense of failures or non-accomplishments; but must look forward and embrace the "Opportunity of Today".

"This Time Victory"
We must get back up and try it again! We must repent for wasting Daddy-God's gifts of time, strength, resources and opportunities which He has so graciously given to us.
We must understand that "Today" is a gift-to provide the opportunity of a bright and promising "This Time Victory".
We have all experienced "Feelings of Victory" for accomplishing certain goals; as well as "Feelings of Defeat" for not accomplishing other aspirations.
But "This Time" thanks to Daddy-God who gives us the victory through Christ Jesus; we can forget the sting of the failures behind us and press for the mark of the high calling of victory before us!
However, we must take action and begin today as we may not always have the opportunity to "DO IT".

"THIS TIME VICTORY"
So, what is it that must be accomplished in our lives?
What has the Spirit of God spoken to our hearts to learn, do or say?
Have we listened to His voice or have we been disobedient?
What are those intended short term goals which have turned into LOOOOOOOONG -TERM goals?

"THIS TIME VICTORY" The first step to experiencing a "THIS TIME VICTORY" is to realize that "We can't bite off more than we can chew at one time".
 Therefore, why not set at least one but not more than three goals to begin working on in our lives! For at least 21 days, let's continuously focus and work to establish those objectives before adding a new goal to accomplish.
If we are determined to experience a "This Time Victory" in our lives and faint not, we shall reap the "This Time Victory"!!
Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
NLT- For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.

Greetings Dr. T. Thanks as always for your newsletters. I bring you greetings from the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan. I got around to opening and reading some of the newsletters, which are always so inspiring and uplifting. I love the one on April 25th with the connections to the music. At least here I can open the links, unlike in Iraq, however, I can't get sounds but I am working on that. The love of the Lord is in my soul, so the sounds are just an added bonus.
