Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe that I have been practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for nearly 22 years. In that time I have opened my doors and heart to thousands of extraordinary individuals seeking body-mind-spirit healing. I am still learning, growing and being inspired by the nuances of the healing process and what my medicine can offer. I am most grateful to all the resilient and dedicated people, young and old, that have graced my clinic. Meanwhile, fall is upon us offering a time of turning, a dimming of the light and a time to reflect. For us here in the desert, fall offers a respite from the heat where we can be more actively engaged outdoors. And with any change of season, especially turning towards the colder, darker days, one becomes more vulnerable to the elements, as well as to emotional issues. In TCM, fall influences the lungs and large intestines that are significant vessels for our immune system. These coupled respiratory and eliminatory organs are vulnerable to external influences such as wind, dryness and viruses, as well as to grief and difficulty letting go. We want to feel inspired, courageous and able to release what no longer serves our greater purpose. Now is an appropriate time to prepare for the turning season with an acupuncture and/or herbal immune system booster. Akashic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation (see below) are additional services I offer to help enrich the spirit and balance the bodymind. WIshing you peace, joy and optimal health!
