Nominate Students for CFM Conservation Leadership Corps!
The Conservation Federation of Missouri invites you to nominate a student (high school junior through college senior) to join our Conservation Leadership Corp (CLC).
The
CLC offers students a unique opportunity to influence conservation
policy and actions by actively participating in the CFM annual convention (Feb 25-27, 2011) and spring legislative field day.
The
goal of the program is that no matter where their chosen careers lead
them, CLC participants are prepared to personally influence policy and
actions that will contribute to the conservation of Missouri's natural
resources.
Learn more about the CLC program and fill out the nomination form.
Nomination forms are due October 31.

Maximum: $20,000
One important
state funding source made possible with State Wildlife Grant funding is the
Missouri Bird Conservation Initiative (MoBCI) Grant Program. The Missouri Bird Conservation Initiative (MoBCI) serves as a conduit in
providing financial support to private and public organizations or to
individuals who have partnerships that carry out bird habitat
conservation projects in Missouri. Eligible activities include projects that protect, enhance or restore bird habitats on any lands in Missouri. All
projects should be habitat based and not strictly designed for
monitoring, however monitoring can be a component of the project
(<10%); some component of monitoring is recommended.
