Missouri
American Water is seeking innovative and collaborative programs that
result in positive and sustainable environmental changes. Watershed
protection activities, biodiversity projects and hazardous waste
collection are just a few examples of potential winners. Project
activities should address a watershed or source water protection need
in the local community within American Water service areas
(St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Mexico, Jefferson City,
Warrensburg, Brunswick, St. Joseph, Platte County/Parkville, and
Joplin).

Funding Reminder: Missouri Teaming With Wildlife Mini-Grant Program
Deadline: March 31, 2010 Maximum Grant Amount: $2,500
The Conservation Federation of Missouri seeks to involve more conservation organizations and businesses in implementing Missouri's Comprehensive Wildlife Strategy. Funds may be used for a variety of projects that promote the conservation of healthy habitats within Conservation Opportunity Areas.
