In this introduction to Revit Architecture, Pacific Alliance leverages our extensive Revit implementation experience to help users become capable with the software as quickly and seamlessly as possible. The first day consists of an overview of the software and introduction to key terms and concepts. The second and third days cover conceptual design with massing, the use of Revit's wide range of components, and project setup strategy.

Students learn both the modeling and the documentation capabilities of Revit through extensive use of walls, editing functions, dimensioning and annotation. In addition, the utilization of Revit's method of detailing is covered. By the end of the 3 days, the student will have the skills to work on a real world project in Revit from building design through construction documentation. Part of day 3 can be customized to your specific project needs.
New Course: Revit Architecture 2011 Collaboration Tools
July 30, 2010 Vancouver Office
$300.00 for the first student and 25% off the price for all additional students from the same company! (1 Day)

Revit Architecture is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool, which can be used by more than one person working on a new project. This is an important feature in collaboration within a project, between projects, and with other users, firms, and disciplines.

The objective of the Revit Architecture 2011 Collaboration Tools training course is to enable students who have a basic knowledge of Revit to increase their productivity while working with other people on a team, either in the same firm or with other firms, and while working with Revit files or other CAD files.

With this Training Guide learn how to:
  • Set up project phasing
  • Create and display a variety of design options
  • Use groups
  • Link Revit files
  • Import and export files, including exporting for energy analysis
  • Understand, use, and set up worksets
  • Optional: Use multi-discipline coordination
New Course: Revit Architecture 2011 BIM Management
July 29, 2010 Vancouver Office
$300.00 for the first student and 25% off the price for all additional students from the same company! (1 Day)

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an approach to the entire building life cycle. Revit Architecture is a powerful BIM program that supports the ability to coordinate, update, and share design data with team members throughout the design, construction, and management phases of a building's life. A key component in managing the BIM process is to establish a company foundation for different types of projects by creating standard templates and custom elements. Having this in place makes the process of any new project flow smoothly and efficiently.

The objective of the Revit Architecture 2011 BIM Management course is to enable students who have worked with Revit to expand their knowledge in setting up office standards with templates that include annotation styles, preset views, sheets, and schedules, as well as creating custom element types and families.
Training: Revit MEP 2010 Essentials
Aug 11 - 13, 2010 Vancouver Office $645.00 for the first student and 25% off the price for all additional students from the same company! (3 Days)
This course is for the new Revit MEP User. In this course students use Revit MEP to model Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Students learn the recommended workflows and basic skills required to navigate Revit MEP and use its tools to create, modify and analyze MEP systems. By completing this course students will be able to produce a building information model of a commercial design for mechanical and electrical systems and extract 2D drawings for construction documents. Prerequisite is the Revit Essentials course or commensurate ability in Revit.
Training: Revit Structure 2010 Advanced
Aug 17 - 18, 2010 Vancouver Office $520.00 for the first student and 25% off the price for all additional students from the same company! (2 Days)
Students learn a wide range of advanced topics in Revit Structure 2010, building on the concepts introduced in the Revit Structure Essentials 2010 course. Hands-on exercises teach students about detailing and detail components, rebar, families, analytical analysis, as well as how to collaborate on a design with other professionals. This course offers both imperial and metric hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.
