In this introduction to Revit Architecture, Pacific Alliance leverages our extensive Revit implementation experience to help users become capable with the software as quickly and seamlessly as possible. The first day consists of an overview of the software and introduction to key terms and concepts. The second and third days cover conceptual design with massing, the use of Revit's wide range of components, and project setup strategy. Students learn both the modeling and the documentation capabilities of Revit through extensive use of walls, editing functions, dimensioning and annotation. In addition, the utilization of Revit's method of detailing is covered. By the end of the 3 days, the student will have the skills to work on a real world project in Revit from building design through construction documentation. |

| Autodesk Announces New Streamlined Upgrade Pricing Model
This change affects customers who purchase Autodesk software without Autodesk® Subscription. After March 16, 2010, Autodesk will introduce a new, streamlined upgrade pricing model that changes how Autodesk prices upgrades, cross-grades, and retroactive Subscription fees. Today, upgrade and cross-grade prices and retroactive Subscription fees vary depending on which software release you are upgrading from. After March 16, 2010, upgrade and cross-grade prices and retroactive Subscription fees from the three previous software releases will be priced at 50 percent of a full license, no matter which release you are using today.
