Happy Halloween!

Welcome to Fall!
We're excited to invite you to some exciting programs this fall: several DHS CIOs joining us next week, Gale Rossides from TSA speaking with us in early November and an incredible holiday event focused on our spirit of giving.

In other news we have centralized registration to one portal at eventbrite.  We are happy to get feedback from you on the system if you like it and its user interface.

Next month we look forward to unveiling our new website.  Sapient Government Services has been working hard to develop a fabulous new site with numerous new features:  several blogs (mentoring, emerging technology, job seeking among others); exclusive internship opportunities from some of our top members; and many other exciting features that will be outlined in next month's newsletter.  We look forward to your input of its usefulness and certainly things you'd like to see added....and if you have aspirations to blog and become a leader in our community, let us know!

November 3 Luncheon with Gail Rossides, TSA

Join us for lunch with

Gale Rossides
Assistant Administrator

Transportation Security Administration
Department of Homeland Security

WHEN:  November 3, 2010; 11:30am - 1:30pm
WHERE:  TBD

Assistant Administrator Rossides has a unique perspective on the TSA -- one of the first officials to make the Agency a reality -- she understands and operates at the highest levels assuring that TSA continues to evolve into an even more successful, highly regarded agency.

The national news tends to beat up and ask questions later.  Particularly the fast paced nature of communications allows innuendo and false stories to travel at lightening speed.  Join us to hear what is really going on -- how much TSA has managed, and how responsive and aware the Agency is to the threats the nation faces from both domestic and international actors.

Don't make us brown bag!  If you can sponsor, please contact us.  We will work with your budget to make this a great event for your company. Sponsorship of this event includes branding on all Cyber awareness materials that will be distributed at the event.
