President, Women in Homeland Security

Our mission
The Mission of Women in Homeland Security is to provide a professional organization for women working in the field of homeland security.  As a relatively new field, the organization strives to provide women with a forum to learn about the many facets of the discipline and to build the connections necessary for their own professional development and for the connections needed to understand the full spectrum of homeland security.

Women in Homeland Security is also committed to assuring that we never forget the threat of terrorism and the need for our nation to maintain its vigilance -- despite the absence of a terrorist attack since September 11, 2001.
