Heading into the Holidays

I used to dislike the stores that would make me shop for a bathing suit in January, or a snow jacket in September. Remember that dread, when you'd walk into your favorite store, and the racks were filled with bathing suits. In January!
Alternative perspective - you could say they were being very organized, too. Helping us to look ahead to the joy of a sunny vacation, in February, allowing us an escape from our New England winter.
I used to shake my head and procrastinate about pulling things together for the holiday season, which in my life extends from October-ish through mid January. I was victim of the holiday stress.
And then one year, after attending a holidays/stress workshop at my local library, I woke up with a new perspective: Manage it instead of letting it managing you. Your schedule is likely more packed at this time of year than any other, so organize your priorities to make it happier and less stressful.
