What
is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the
fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no
sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.

Why an Organizer Coach?
|
Professional Organizers who have learned
and are using coaching skills in their organizing client work have better
results.
Their clients become clearer about what they want from their lives and
from the organizing work.
They partner with the Organizer Coach in the creation
of new structures and systems.
Because clients are more engaged in the process,
the transfer of skills and commitment to maintenance is greater.
Follow-up and
accountability are built into the relationship.

All three I've read before. But as your life changes, isn't it useful to reread some books in a new context?

Sue West, CPO, COC | Summer
schedule changes. I feel relaxed and stressed at
the same time!
So much change in so little time. For several months, you're in a different world, a transition
to summer, and then back to reality and regular schedules in the Fall.
I've noticed that we all seem to operate on the school vs.
summer schedule shift. Even if we don't have children, those around us do. Begs the question ...
What do summer
schedules have to do with organizing?
- How you organize your schedule is key to retaining some modicum of control if that's important, and/or to claiming some space for you.
- Knowing your values and priorities so
they come first on your schedule...or at least have a reserved spot!
- We are in a new situation, summertime. New situations and change beg for a look at how we are organizing our time (and our stuff, sometimes). Most people around you will have a different schedule, so change is needed (as is flexibility!)
- Paying attention to how you schedule and
organize your time will give you harmony and peace inside, at home, in the office, and in your life
as a whole.
So I'm sharing
today words of wisdom I've learned from friends plus those pearls I've
figured out on my own. I hope they bring you peace and more time for what
pleases you most this summer.

Summer Schedule Changes....
or the Living Won't be Easy !
|
|
Cape Cod |
Moms, entrepreneurs, grandparents - whatever your role is,
we all feel it.
With anticipation, both positive and stress-filled, we wait for
that last day of school or the summer work calendar which changes our schedule beginning
in June.
The problem is that we often don't plan for it, and then try
to do everything we normally do. We squeeze in time for those additional summer
activities. In our business, we think we
can be as productive as we are the rest of the year. Not so.
We end up feeling
like our time is splintered; there are too many pieces to our pie chart of a
summer day schedule.
Solutions follow -- Tips for how to change your schedule, expectations
and have a calmer summer season.

Your Life A Makeover -
What's Your Next Chapter?
Take the morning and join us at this Field in Milford.
Wondering what's next in your life? But there's all that
internal and external "clutter" that's holding you back. You want to
move on, but how? And to what?
You've experienced a life change. You're an "empty nester,"
pre-retiree, retiree, widowed or divorced. You may be merging households. Or
you're downsizing to move on. Take this course and you will: -
Figure
out where you're headed in your next chapter;
-
Learn
to clear out the mental/internal clutter holding you back (habits, attitudes
and beliefs);
-
Learn
how to conquer the "stuff", the external clutter that's holding you
back (possessions that have outlived their usefulness, cluttered living spaces,
but with "no regrets" decisions).
- Walk away with handouts, exercises and more to continue on your journey.
I am joined by a co-host, two experts for you. My workshop co-leader is Kathryn May, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Life Coach, of Life by Intention, www.lifebyintention.com in Nashua New
Hampshire. $65 for the full morning class. It's time for you.
Our Next Chapter course is also offered in August, for 4 weeks of meetings, at the Elliot Senior Health Center, Manchester. for more information.
