A smile costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give.

A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business,

and it is the countersign of friendship.

 

It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, but is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given way.

 

Some people are too tired to give you a smile. 

Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

 

 

We are partners both in our passion for creating beautiful smiles and in life. Married for over 30 years (we were sweethearts in dental school at UBC) we have practiced together for most of our careers. 

 

We have an office in Tsawwassen and officially opened our new dental boutique in Coal Harbour in April 2008.

 

Our first official day of business involved providing a smile makeover on live TV (Breakfast TV) as part of the BC Dental Association's "Community Dental Day" for a young woman who lost her smile thru years of poverty, neglect and drug abuse. It was a challenge to say the least, as it was our first day using the equipment in the new office, we had never met the woman prior, and the news broadcasters kept interrupting us for interviews. However, we got the job done and will be working with her over the next few months at a more relaxed pace to give her a new, healthy and attractive smile and a chance to improve her life.

 

Although we can't provide free dentistry for everyone, each year we try to make a significant impact on the life of at least one person as members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's "Give Back a Smile" program.
