Everything always takes longer and costs more than you think it will - LOL. I know you can relate! EPA Amusement Operators Safety Certification Launched at IAAPA
Safety certification is not just for equipment owners!
The highly anticipated EPA Amusement Operators Safety Certification (EPA AOSC) program received rave reviews from safety and insurance professionals, operators and manufacturers at IAAPA last month. Event and amusement professionals excitedly snapped up the 8-set DVD program available on the spot at the trade show. In addition to getting certified themselves, owner/operators now have the ability to train, test and certify their employees' knowledge of risk management best practices. This series is the first step in a strategic plan to create a safer industry which will in turn, affect liability insurance rates and legislative regulation. About the EPA AOSC
The EPA Amusement Operators Safety Certification is a comprehensive, equipment specific safety program designed to provide operators and their employees with a thorough understanding of best risk management practices. Industry accidents, which serve to put a spotlight on potential issues, can often be avoided through the utilization of proper risk management techniques. This program is available to members and non-members and warrants discounts on insurance premiums from most major carriers. Available in DVD format. Online availability coming soon.
