Goodwin Honored as Environmental Success Story Campus Named Project of the Year

Goodwin College's River Campus was named Project of the Year by the leading economic development organization in the northeast, Northeastern Economic Developers Association (NEDA). The Connecticut Brownfields Redevelopment Authority (CBRA) was recognized for helping clean up and redevelop the former tank farm, creating additional revenue for the town of East Hartford as well as the re-use of a formerly environmentally challenged, tax delinquent and generally blighted property. The Connecticut Development Authority, through CBRA, provided financing for the project in unison with other entities. For more information on the Connecticut Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, visit www.ctbrownfields.com.
