Employee Giving Boosts Foundation's Record Year
As the official numbers are tallied, it is safe to say that together,
donors pulled together this year to exceed our goal to grow the Foundation by $217,000!
Funds raised supported the Scholarship Fund, which helps support the
College's institutional aid budget. Last year, nearly $2 Million was awarded
to our students. Over 90% of our students need financial aid to help meet their educational goals.
Of note in contributing to these efforts were employees, over half of whom participated
in Feeling Good About Goodwin, and contributed nearly $35,000.

student, program, department or institutional level.
Priority will be given to proposals that focus on student learning, promote

data or other measures of student learning. Instructors meeting to discuss
what students are learning and related teaching and assessment methods.
Outside review to discuss student work and related teaching/assessment methods.

(e.g., ETS Field Test) and discuss the results at a staff luncheon.
Attend an assessment conference to learn more. For example, see
www.neean.org/about.
Proposals should be brief (1 page) and should include contact information,
Department Chair approval, purpose and description of activity, budget, and
