Goodwin College and East Hartford High School announced a partnership allowing eligible seniors to
earn up to nine college credits free of charge. Interested students should contact their guidance counselor.

Dedicating seats helps students by supporting the College's Scholarship Fund. Nearly 90% of Goodwin College students need financial aid. The College assists by awarding almost $2 million in scholarships. The Foundation's Scholarship Fund raised $100,000 last year to help. However, as the College's student body grows, so does our students' need. It's like two gifts in one! Goodwin instructor Paul Kline is also an award-winning artist. Recently, his photography won first place
at Philadelphia’s Art Ability, an international juried exhibition of art and fine crafts. One of
Kline’s photographs was also accepted into the annual, national show of photography at
The Main Street Gallery in Groton, NY. Goodwin College staff, students, and alumni raised over $1,500 (and counting) for the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life. Over 20 volunteers from the College took part. The East Hartford Relay event will be held November 7 at Pratt & Whitney. Thanks for all your support. Respiratory Care students marked Respiratory Care Week by raising over $500 for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. 72 people took advantage of the Flu Clinic in October. On December 11, the Connecticut Association of Conservation Districts will be meeting in the Community Room.
