As Fundraising Program Grows, Goodwin Employees Lead by
Example
The
Goodwin College Foundation's efforts to raise funds for scholarships and
student aid for the 2008-09 fiscal year are off to a strong start, thanks to an
incredible outpouring of support by college employees. So far, nearly 50% of
full-time employees have participated in the employee giving program, called
the Feeling Good About Goodwin Society.
Through
the many generous gifts and a major contribution by President Scheinberg, the
campaign is well on its way to achieving its fundraising goals. Outreach to employees
is the first of several initiatives planned throughout the fiscal year, as the
college seeks to raise funds needed to expand scholarships and student aid. The
college plans to reach out to alumni, trustees, and friends in the coming
months.
