tinku gallery news | late summer 2008
Hi !

It's a new day, it's a new dawn, it's a new life
And I'm feeling good...
--Nina Simone

Before I get to our news, I wanted to say thanks for supporting the gallery through our growing pains this summer as I figure out our scheduling, our shows, etc...

In case you have not yet read my blog, my news is that I am about to leave the safety net of my full time job to put my energy and focus into growing the gallery.  It is an exciting time and I have great hopes for where the gallery can go in terms of connecting our wonderful artists with people like you who appreciate their stories, their talent, their contributions.

We are starting to get noticed around the city and around the world but we have a long way to go.  I would very much appreciate your support in telling your art-loving friends about my gallery so they will join our mailing list and support us through their patronage.  Growing this gallery requires sowing a lot of seeds, and there is nothing I would love more than to see this gallery become a fixture not only in the neighbourhood but known across the country and beyond.  Each email you forward makes a difference so thank you!

Hope you are all having a great summer, and now, let's talk about art!

*Tweeted refers to what people do when they talk about something on Twitter.  If this still sounds like nonsense, don't worry, just click through and read the article. :)
