Greetings! This is the first of our monthly emails giving you all the news from tinku gallery. Okay maybe not ALL the news, since things seem to be changing on a weekly, if not daily basis...For that, you will have to check out the gallery blog or visit our Facebook page.
When I opened the gallery, I thought it would take a good part of the summer to work out all the bugs which is why I didn't schedule any formal shows until September. Instead, I am rotating works by different artists, with new works being exhibited every month. This is a great way to get to know our artists so come and have a look.
One thing that was obvious immediately was that I needed to be open longer hours, so I decided to bring in some interns, who come to the gallery with great experience and enthusiasm. We hope you make us a part of your regular gallery visits. And if you have not yet made it in, I hope we will meet soon.

tinku gallery is showing new works by artists Cass Reimer, Brigid Watson, and Orlin Mantchev. We are holding an open house on Sunday, June 15th from 2-5 pm if you'd like to stop by for a glass of cold lemonade and meet Cass, Orlin and Amrita. No need to RSVP, just come by and bring your friends.

The gallery is now open longer hours, as of June 14th, which means it will be easier for you to stop in when you are in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood.
Thursdays 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Fri, Sat, Sun 12:00 - 6:00 pm
Mon, Tue, Wed by appointment
For those of you who would like to view our collection in a relaxed, more intimate environment, make an appointment to come by after hours -- bring a friend or two to make it more fun. We will provide some refreshments and conversation, and you will find it a great way to learn more about our works, without feeling intimidated or pressured.
