| Interested in Setting the Pace?
United Way Pacesetters conduct their campaign between June and August and help us kickoff the general campaign with momentum. Last year, 105 Pacesetter companies raised more than $6.2 million.
This year's Pacesetter Chairman, Doug Stussi with Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, will kickoff the Pacesetter Campaign on June 11 at the Pacesetter luncheon.

Engage in Emerging Leaders
United Way Emerging Leaders not only gain valuable leadership experience, but also give back to the community by volunteering.
The group held the second Easter Egg Scramble last weekend, where more than 150 people braved the cold wind to enjoy an egg hunt, a visit from the Easter Bunny and hot dogs.
The Emerging Leaders coordinated the event, supplied candy-filled eggs and helped serve hot dogs. Does this sound like something you or your co-workers would be interested in participating in? Find out more about how to become an Emerging Leader by contacting Natalie Espinosa.

Update: Community Investment Process
Now that you and your co-workers have made your pledges, it's time to update you on how it is being allocated.
- More than 260 volunteers are in the process of reviewing all 60 Partner Agencies.
- Volunteers study budgets and visit each agency to learn about their programs and see the impact they have on the community.
- Committees will discuss each agency, their presentation and their financials before making recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors.
- Final funding decisions will be made and announced in June.
