Kick Butts Day is back, with new opportunities to take action in 2010!
On March 24, thousands of youth in every state and around the world will STAND OUT ... SPEAK UP ... and SEIZE CONTROL AGAINST BIG TOBACCO.
Kick Butts Day is a day of activism that empowers youth to take action against tobacco use at more than 2,000 events from coast to coast. In 2010, we are looking forward to an even bigger and better Kick Butts Day.

Have you checked your smoke detectors?
Daylight Savings time is a great date for an annual smoke alarm check up. Check the manufacturer's expiration date on the label, replace the batteries if needed, and clean dust away from the slots so that smoke can enter
freely. All smoke alarms, hard-wired and battery powered, should be
replaced every ten years. These simple steps will help ensure that you
and your family will have the best chance of surviving if fire should
strike. |
