For Your Health Why Keep Asprin by Your Bedside ?
On average, 1.2 million heart attacks occur each year in the United States. The most well know symptom of heart attacks is pain in the left arm, however there are other symptoms to be aware of. An intense pain in the chin, nausea and excessive sweating are also signs of a heart attack.
Heart attacks can happen during sleep, in fact 60% of those who had an attack during their sleep did not wake up. If chest pain occurs it may wake you from your sleep.
If this happens, immediately dissolve two asprinis in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water. Call 911 and let them know you've had a heart attack and taken two asprins. It is very important to sit straight up, do not lie down, while you wait for medial assistance. |
