Book Coming Soon!

Attend the Thursday, Oct. 6, KWG meeting and enjoy the launch of the Guild's eighth literary anthology, A Tapestry of Voices: The 2011 Anthology of the Knoxville Writers' Guild. Due to an unforeseen glitch at the printer's, we won't have books for the launch. However, the program will go on as planned and we will be taking orders for the book. Several contributors will read, including poets Marilyn Kallet and Linda Parsons Marion and novelist Pamela Schoenewaldt. The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be at 7 p.m. at the Laurel Theater, at the corner of Laurel Avenue and 16th Streets. A $2 donation is requested at the door. The building is handicapped accessible. Edited by Kay Newton and Doris Ivie, backed by a committee including Martha Yarnell (Committee Chair), Kim West (Designer), Meg Bensey, Carole Anne Borges, Judith Duvall, and Cathy Kodra, the book will make a great holiday gift for anyone interested in East Tennessee. It will be on sale very soon! Info: Kay Newton, Editor, Kat_New@msn.com.
