Club of the Month
New Village
Family Night

The first Camp Fire Family Night at Common Bond's New Village Co-op was a huge success.  Family members of New Village Camp Fire Club members came to see what their children had been doing in Camp Fire Club and to meet the Club leaders.  The evening's main event was a game of bingo for Club members and their families.

Give the Gift of Camp this Holiday
Looking for a new gift idea this holiday season?

What's an even better gift than a new toy or video game? How about something that's timeless, healthy and creates a lifetime of memories? The perfect holiday solution for your family could be the gift of camp. By giving a gift of camp, you invest in your daughter, nephew or grandchild's future by giving him/her an amazing outdoor experience, exposure to diversity and tons of fun in a safe, supervised and rewarding atmosphere.

Camp Tanadoona gift certificates may be purchased in a variety of dollar amounts. You may purchase certificates here or by calling 612-285-6255. Certificates are redeemed at the time of camp registration for summer 2010.

Happy Holidays!
Camp Fire USA Minnesota Council

Workshop Addresses Preconceptions about Youth on the Streets

Trudee Able-Peterson leads a workshop on street youth

New sign at the entrance to Camp TanadoonaCamp Tanadoona just got a little easier to find with a brand new sign that went up earlier this month.  While the old camp sign had served us well for at least 25 years, it was made out of wood and despite the best treatment and care, it just couldn't survive another tough Minnesota winter.  The new sign was built to last from sturdy aluminum that is impervious to rain, snow and bugs.
