Diocese Participates in AIDS Walk 
The Houston AIDS Walk will be held March 11. Again this year, the Diocese of Texas' team will be "Johnny's Walkers" led by the Rev. Canon John Logan. Last year the team raised over $13,000. "The Forgiving Heart: Moving from Pain to Peace" on March 19 at 6:30 p.m.
St. John the Divine, Houston, hosts Ken Pargament, Ph.D., professor of psychology and scholar at the Institute for Spirituality and Health. He will speak on the topic of forgiveness. Researchers have documented the toll of unforgiveness on relationships, health and well-being. Pargament addresses the importance of forgiving oneself, being forgiven by others and God in order to move beyond unforgiveness and to gain greater peace in one’s life.
