Scholarships for Alumni
The Alumni Association grants two $500 scholarships to Michener Institute/Toronto Institute of Medical Technology graduates, or their children, every year. 2011 Alumni of Distinction
The Alumni Association invites you to nominate deserving Michener alumni for the 2011 Alumni of Distinction Award.  Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, August 31, 2011. This is an exciting opportunity to honour an outstanding individual who, as a Michener grad, has made important contributions to health care.

Join the Alumni Association!
The next meeting of the Michener Alumni Association is Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining the Board or attending the meeting, please RSVP by September 9, 2011.
The Alumni Association meeting dates for 2011/2012 are:
November 15, 2011; January 31, 2012; March 13, 2012; April 24, 2012; & June 12, 2012 (meeting & AGM)

Honorary Diploma Recipient 2011
The 2011 Honorary Diploma recipient is Dr. Vivek Goel. At graduation this year, Dr. Goel spoke to the grads about their role in the health care system. Watch the video online (Graduation video part 1 at 27:30)

Michener's Strategic Alliance Award
Mr. Gerry Hogue, Elekta, is the inaugural Michener Strategic Alliance Award recipient. Michener's alliance with Elekta resulted in the procurement of two custom built Linear Accelerators specially designed for educational and training in the Radiation Therapy Program.
