Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

2011 is almost over and 2012 is just around the corner.  In spite of the challenges our country continues to face, we have a lot to be thankful for.  This is a good time to reflect on our blessings and to take some time off with our families.

Christmas Schedule
Closed for Christmas
2011 is almost over and Christmas is around the corner -- time to break out the "Its a Wonderful Life" DVD.

For me and my family I am thankful for the many blessings we received in 2011.  In spite of a sour economy we continue to be profitable.  We want to thank all of our customers for that.  We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to help you realize your dreams of flight.   We are especially thankful to the author of Christmas.  May his name be praised this Christmas season.  God bless you.

Looking Back
AirBorne's T-Lite Ultralight Trike Year End Ramblings
Well 2011 is almost in the bag.  For our family and business it has been a memorable year.

While the business continues to be affected by the terrible economy, which our political leaders seem incapable of doing anything positive about (while they continue spending our grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's money), at least we had a profitable year.  In the recreational aviation business turning a profit in this economy is considered a success.  So I am thankful for a successful year.

Flying Warm
Ozee Flight SuitFly Comfortably
Some of the best flying of the year is in the winter.  Now this statement is not a big surprise to someone flying a Cessna.  He knows that in the winter his airplane performs at its best.  The cold, dense air gives the engine plenty of oxygen (more power) and makes for better performing propellers and wings.

But when I fly an open cockpit aircraft like a trike on a freezing day people look at me like I've lost my mind.  Who in their right mind would fly an open cockpit aircraft during the winter?

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  (The Bible, Luke 2:11 (ESV)).

He is the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas,
