"Worcester Cares for Haiti" Friday, January 22, 2010 ...yes, this Friday! 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. At Union Station
We are bombarded daily with the news and images coming from Haiti. The
earthquake that struck
on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 has affected millions; the devastation is
staggering; the impact immeasurable.The City of Worcester is uniting as a community to make a difference. This Friday's special event will highlight various
efforts in assisting Haiti and give you opportunities to contribute and
volunteer through reputable organizations. The United Way
of Central Massachusetts, Catholic Relief Services and the American Red Cross among
other organizations will be accepting monetary donations and providing information through-out the evening. - Free event
