Think outside the box
for your holiday giving |
Tired of schlepping through the malls for holiday gift ideas? Do those you are shopping for really need more stuff? Use the Wish List to help you think outside the "holiday gift box" and feel good about giving. Consider these creative giving ideas while you look through the Wish List:
- pick a project to do with co-workers
- team up with friends and "adopt a family" instead of exchanging gifts with each other
- involve your children in buying for someone else and delivering the gifts
- have your book club throw a party to collect donation items
- pick up some extra holiday groceries to donate
- have your grandchildren help wrap items to donate
- spend some time volunteering with family or friends
Remind yourself it is better to give than to receive!
