Whether you're an iPhone or Android user, you cannot ignore the power of the "App" and how it's literally transformed the phone from something that we used to TALK on, to a much more interactive device.
Recently on my weekly webinar show,
Free Webinar Wednesays, we held a discussion on some of our favorite Apps and have been getting a lot of great feedback. In case you missed, it,
stop over to our FWW site and check out the webinar archive for the complete show.

But, if you're pressed for time, here are a couple of my favorites that are available on both the iPhone and Android platforms. Just search iTunes or the Android Market and give 'em a try. Oh, and the best part is these are all FREE!
Wunderlist: This handy (and minimalistic) little app is a great "to do" list program that makes it easy to quickly enter tasks and other things that need to get done. You can create categories for better organizing your items and it even syncs with the Wunderlist.com site. Create a free account and start working on your list(s) today!
Endomondo: Using the GPS service on your phone, this handy little app is your "workout partner" and tracks you when you head out for a walk, jog, bike ride or any other activity where you can bring your phone along for the ride. Your activities can be saved on the Endomondo.com website, providing you with a complete history of your workouts and you can manually enter activity (such as swimming) when it doesn't make sense to have your phone on you.
Evernote: I've talked about this program before, but can't create a list of favorite apps without mentioning it. I use this as my own "bookmarking and clipping" solution and capture notes, URLs, voice memos and just about anything else that I come across that I want to remember. You can create tags to help you find information quickly and it syncs with the Evernote.com website and you always have access to your important information.
Google Currents: This is Google's new reader that brings in a variety of news and magazine sources that you can "flip through". It's a quick download, easy to use and you can even bring in your own RSS feeds to keep up on all that's new and interesting.
Kindle: From Amazon.com, this gives you the ability to read your books from any device with this handy app. When you're connected to to the Internet it even syncs your "position" so you can grab another device and pick up where you left off. This is great when I'm on my Android phone and then want to keep reading later on my iPad.
