Online Learning and Webinars FREE Webinar: Online Discussion: Connecting with Generation Y as Customers and Employees
The response and feedback from our last webinar on Connecting with Generation Y as Customers and Employees with author Bea Fields (archive available here) was so great, we decided to schedule a follow-up conversation. Designed to be less formal than the prior webinar, this session will be more conversational and allow us to respond to your questions and comments.
Join us on Tuesday, March 24th from 1 - 2 pm EST
FREE Webinar: Podcasting 101 for Community Banks and Small Businesses
Join us at 3 - 4 PM
EDT on March 31st, as Jeff Simpkins of Community Bank Consulting, Inc. and I host host Roger DeWitt of CoachingNYC on the topic of Podcasting.
If
you've never heard of podcasting before, it's essentially an audio
recording (of either yourself or even an interview with another person)
that is then archived and made available to others via the Internet. It's a great way to talk to your customers and communicate differently than simply typing on your site.
Graduate School of Banking - Online Classroom: So Your Bank Has a Website? Is that Enough, Probably Not...
As a 2003 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking, I'm pleased to be back with GSB, now as faculty, and teaching in their online classroom.
Join me on March 26 from 3 - 4:30 PM EDT and learn why simply having a website is no longer enough in today's competitive Internet world. We'll be discussing things like:
- Internet
Marketing
-
Paid
Search Marketing
-
Online
Sales Strategies
-
Web 2.0
Social Media
-
Overall
Strategic Issues
-
Search
Engine Optimization
-
E-Mail
Marketing
-
Website
Design and Layout
-
Analytics
and Visitor Behavior
The cost for this 90-minute class is $325 per site and you can have as many people from your organization attend. Even if you are not a bank, the session will provide a good overall concept of taking your website to the "next level" and would be worth your time.

Get Found Online With WSI Local AdWorks - True Performance-Based Advertising
One of the most challenging decisions a business owner makes in tight economic times is where to spend money and how to ensure that it's producing a return on their investment (ROI). This can be the most challenging in the areas of traditional marketing and advertising due to the fact that it's difficult to track which advertisements are working (if at all). Announcing WSI Local AdWorks - our comprehensive paid search marketing program that gets your business listed in 98% of all search pages on the Internet. And the best part is your ad budget is only spent when someone actually clicks on your advertisement and visits your website. This is truly the only performance- based marketing program in the world! To learn more about how this program can help your business, we've created a helpful (and quick) video that introduces you to the service. After you're done watching, give me a call or drop me an e-mail and let's see how WSI Local AdWorks can be right for your business. (269) 841-5007eric@poweredbywsi.comWhat We Track: To help ensure that you get the most out of your advertising dollars, our system tracks the following key information related to your advertising campaign. - Number of times your advertisement is displayed.
- Number of times your advertisement is clicked, resulting in your budget being spent.
- What pages the visitor looks at on your site.
- Whether or not the visitor sends you an e-mail or fills out a contact us form on your site.
- We can even tell if the visitor calls your business (and we can capture caller ID information and even record the call for follow-up).
Don't delay. Be sure to watch the video and learn more. You'll be amazed at just how simple and effective WSI Local AdWorks can be. You can also read my latest blog entry where I talk about a recent customer who's using the service. There's also a special offer at the end of this newsletter saving you $250 on your first campaign setup fees! |

What Can You Learn From TED?
No, I'm not talking about your neighbor down the street named Ted, but TED - as in Technology, Entertainment and Design. If you've never visited this site before, prepare to be amazed at the information you will find (www.ted.com).
Started in 1984, TED began as an annual conference that brought in great thinkers from all over the world (and participants pay lots of money to attend in person). But you don't have to pay anything to watch and listen to the best presentations online (and they are all around 20 minutes long - so you should be able to fit one in during the day).
Listen to fascinating people like Jane Goodall (researcher), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Jeff Bezos (Amazon.com) and others talk on a variety of topics. There's handy search tools to help sift through the information and with over 300 speakers listed on their site and over 400 different talks archived, you'll be hard-pressed to think of a topic that has not been discussed on TED.
So what are you waiting for? Get out there and learn something new today. Maybe you can find a topic that will be relevant to your business or personal life. It's worth taking a look...
