 Recently I was asked to present at the Community Bankers Association of Ohio's Annual Convention in Chicago on Internet marketing and website strategies... What a blast (and what a great bunch of bankers).
I'm pleased to say that my session was very well attended and generated quite a bit of discussion afterwards - which of course was my intent. I really do enjoy the "education" part of my job and helping to raise awareness of the importance of treating the Internet as a strategic tool. Fun Tip: You Ever Done The Cha-Cha?
 While the timing of this post may be eerily coincidental to the announcement of this season's "Dancing with the Stars" cast, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm an avid follower (I actually prefer the early stages of American Idol and watching all the wannabes get flamed by Simon). When I say "Cha-Cha", I'm not talking about the actual dance, but a fun (and free) service you can access from your text-enabled mobile phone that will provide answers to your questions. Hey, this is the Internet - you'd be surprised what's out there!
What's the capital of North Dakota? Who was the sixth president of the United States? What does a mitochondria do? What is the most popular cartoon on Nickelodeon? You ask the questions and ChaCha comes back with the answers, in many cases in under a minute.
Now keep in mind the service is free, so don't think that you'll become the next Jeopardy champ by texting your "questions" to Alex Trebek's "answers" to ChaCha. But, in a pinch it's pretty accurate and can be a fun little diversion to your hectic schedule.
