Most Websites Don't Work! That's right, most websites, especially ones being used by small and medium sized businesses, simply don't work. Sure, they do a good job of providing an e-mail address, phone number and maybe basic product information, but the Internet can do so much more.
I recently wrote an article entitled "Most Websites Don't Work" and have made it available in PDF format if you'd like to take a quick read. If you are a business owner (or know someone that is), there may be good reason for us to chat! Give me a call at (269) 841-5007 and let's make sure your website is working for YOU!

One Down, One To Go... April 15th I had the honor of presenting at the Michigan Bankers Association's Operations and Technology Conference in Plymouth, MI. We covered the basics of Internet Search Marketing and Analytics and it was great to "re-connect" with many of my banking friends.
Later this week I'll be presenting at the MBA's Marketing Conference in Traverse City and will be presenting on Internet and Web Strategies.

When Was Your Last (Good) Backup???
If you're like most folks, you may not like your answer to this question. Chances are, the only time you think about a backup is when something happens and you WISH you had a recent backup. Let me introduce you to Carbonite.
For only $49.95 per year, Carbonite provides you with unlimited, secure online backup. No gimmicks or tricks and setup only takes minutes and then your PC is automatically backed up anytime you're connected to the Internet. Just like the famous phrase "set it and forget it" only we're not talking about roasting chickens (can you name the man that coined those five famous words?).
So, don't risk losing an important document, family picture or video file. For less than $5 per month you get an automatic backup solution with unlimited storage space. This is one of the rare times when it really is as good as it sounds! |

Pedaling With A Purpose
As an avid cyclist and someone with a "soft spot" for trying to make a difference, I created the website www.Pedaling WithAPurpose.org to help fellow cyclists raise money for worthy causes while enjoying the sport they love.
On June 14th I will return to the 2008 Founders Lumberjack 100 mountain bike race for the third straight year to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. You can learn more or to make a donation by visiting my site and if (or someone you know) is a cyclist and is considering making a difference, visit my PWAP site and sign up today!
Thanks for your consideration. Even if you are not able to make a donation, you can download the special PWAP Toolbar that will help to raise money for this worthy cause just by searching the Internet.
