I'll share some of the great emails with you.

Here's some of the Cool Emails.....

Yes, we LOVE sweet peppers, especially "Corno di Toro" and a new  variety I got from someone this year called "Giant Marconi." Both are  long pointed sweet peppers that are about 7 or 8 inches long or more.
Great for stuffing. I also love banana peppers both hot and sweet for  salads.
But we love hot peppers even more. Like you, we dry them and freeze  them, and then we have hot peppers all winter. Our favorite is the Peter Pepper - fun to grow and just the right amount of hotness with lots of flavor. I cut up a whole one or two to put in a bowl of beans or chili.
We grow most of our peppers in pots, they do really well with fish
emulsion, seaweed, and epsom salt applied periodically.
My husband Ron made some delicious sauce for hot wings with the  Chicken Heart" peppers too. Very flavorful.

My favorites are yellow bells and pimentos.
I'm also open to trying some new varieties.

I love sweet peppers on salads and often use them in combination with hot peppers in any type of dish.
I recently used some x-large pablano peppers I grew to make stuffed peppers, these turned out so good - just the right spice. I've had to make them for friends and family when the come over, they are very popular.
Thanks for all the tips.

Love your newsletter especially the article about your rescuing your 91 yr. young mother made me wish I still had my Mom.  You have a special place in my heart for taking her home.
I love sweet peppers especially all of the colorful ones yellow, red, orange, mulit color large and small.  I have not had much success growing them in the ground or in pots but I keep trying every year.  It is still warm here and I have some in my garden now trying again and hope for successful results.
I would love to win some seeds.

Hi Pepper Joe

I love sweet peppers and hot peppers! My wife and I grow hot and
sweet peppers in our garden here in Florida year round. I combine them on my
home made pizzas and virtually every other foods we eat! I have purchased
your seeds for a long time and will continue to do so.

I'd love to win the contest but growing your seeds for all our
delicious peppers makes us winners all the time!

Thanks Pepper Joe

Halloween Humor:

A cabbie picks up a Nun in San Francisco . She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.

She asks him why he is staring. He replies: 'I have a question to ask, but I don't want to offend you.'

She answers, 'My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.'

'Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.'

She responds, 'Well, let's see what we can do about that: #1, you have to be single and #2, you must be Catholic.'

The cab driver is very excited and says, 'Yes, I'm single and Catholic!'

'OK' the nun says. 'Pull into the next alley.'

The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush.

But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.

'My dear child,' said the nun, 'Why are you crying?'

'Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess; I'm married and I'm Jewish.'

The nun says, 'That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party.'

Great Halloween Chili

=================

2 (15ounce cans pinto beans, not drained
2 lbs, ground chuck
1 lb jimmy dean breakfast sausage
2 yellow onions
1 bell pepper
1 head garlic (the whole thing, not a toe of its offspring)
2 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 15 ounce can stewed tomatoes
6 beef bullion cubes (dissolve in a 1/2 cup water)
2 tbl spns chili powder
2 tbl spns, cumin powder
2 tbl spns brown sugar, (dark)
1 tsp oregano
1 celery stark
2 tbl spns habarnero sauce( use your favorite )
1 tsp cayanne pepper.
1 tbl spn tony chachere's (creole seasoning)
1 lg bayleaf
1 tsp paprika
salt to taste, I dont use it
Now, simply brown the meats, cut the vegetables ( I don't saute them) add everthing to a large pot. simmer on just above low for atleast 4 hours. No less. of course stir occasinally, I use a well seasoned cast iron pot. If it gets a little thick for ya, some water can be added. Of course anything well seasoned is always better the next day. So wait til then to eat. If you try it, I hope you ejoy it as much as I do.
