legation, a gallery
Opening Friday June 18, 5-10pm
Exhibit runs through July 2, 2010

Artists Andrew Curlowe and Joshua Rex have created historical replicas of documents, personal belongings and even death masks - works that comment on the "primary sources" that historians draw their influences from and bear witness to regarding the past.  Works are exhibited at random with no reference to historical timeline or to the importance of the order of events. The importance of each work is that they were, and remain to be, with hope that they continue to communicate to the living on a human level.
