An unprecedented look at one of the Cleveland School's most admired and cherished artists of the early 20th century, including over 55 paintings and watercolors by this stand-alone Post Impressionist master. 

 

A monograph on Adomeit and his career and art will accompany the exhibition, written by art historian and Cleveland School specialist Dr. Marianne Berardi, who will speak on George Adomeit at a special reception to be held in May.

Native Clevelander, Suzanne Gilbert's background as a fashion illustrator translates into large paintings that include fun, feminine, and highly stylized portraits of women.  An exhibit of her paintings and ceramics opens during the Experience and continues during regular store hours.

Several visual artists now occupy new custom-built contemporary industrial studios in the first phase of the smARTspace at 78th project -- a venture bringing unique, mixed use exhibit/event/studio space to west side Cleveland's largest arts center.
