Chicago's Clean & Green Day at The Polish Triangle

Join the Polish Triangle Coalition in cleaning up the Polish Triangle for Chicago's Clean & Green Day 2012. To learn more about this group and to volunteer, meet us at the Polish Triangle, Saturday, April 21st from 9am-12 pm. As a treat for helping, Podhalanka Pierogis and Polish Sausage will be donated by 1st Ward Alderman Joe Moreno.

Donations Needed to Support the Bucktown Arts Fest

The all volunteer, no corporate sponsorship Bucktown Arts Fest is looking for fun, local donations for their silent and live auctions on July 27th at Jackson Junge Gallery. Due to cutbacks from the City and the Chicago Park District, the Fest needs to raise money to put on the fest and maintain its mission of providing arts and education programming at Holstein Park and in the Bucktown/Wicker Park community. Community Art Project to Benefit Pritzker School

An auction of original toy-like objects created by local artists to benefit Pritzker School, with music by Red Pop Fury. For two weeks leading up to the auction, the Plaything creations can be viewed at over 20 local retailers. Visitors can support great local businesses by shopping at retailers such as Stitch, Red Hen Bakery, Psychobaby, Elevenzees and Building Blocks Toys while previewing the items up for auction.
