As The Crow Flys

As The Crow Flys is the singing partnership of Sue Nordman and John Hicks, a bluesy folk/rock duo from southeastern Michigan. Singer Sue Nordman croons stories of sad existentialism in a smoky warble, while guitarist John Hicks provides musical backdrops for these soul-searching journeys that range from hypnotizing to soothing to downright depressive! The two met at a local blues jam several years ago and have been performing together regularly ever since. Steve Kovich

Steve Kovich writes songs which are mostly fiction, yet found to be entirely the truth. His gentle vocals and love of acoustic music shines through in all of his performances.  Steve is a longtime member of Songwriters Anonymous, a local songwriting collective. In May 2011 he was selected to perform at The Ark's Open Stage Showcase, where he performed along with Jim Humphries on the Ark's main stage.
