Tracy Kash Thomas & Luti Erbeznik

Tracy Kash Thomas
began her musical life as a classical musician. Armed with a Bachelor's degree from University of North and a Master's degree from the venerable Boston Conservatory, Tracy is an accomplished flutist and pianist.  Add her impeccable songwriting, arranging and production talents to the mix and it is easy to see why she is an established "musician's musician" in her native Detroit, where she currently lives, as well as in her previous hometown of New York City. Her unique brand of jazz-influenced rock/pop and R&B thrills live audiences as well as her growing radio following.  In addition to her own solo career, Tracy also is a member of several other Detroit-area jazz combos. www.tracykash.com
Luti Erbeznik
Luti Erbeznik
(pron. lew'-tee air-beige'-nick) comes from the former Yugoslavia where in his 20s he led a local rock band. Luti came to the U.S. in the late 1980s as a Fulbright Scholar in molecular biology, and continued to sing and play his music as a hobby. In the 1990s, Yugoslavia was torn apart by a bloody civil war, leaving a deep imprint on Luti and his music. Luti's musical roots lie in rock, classical and Yugoslav folk music, and his voice has been compared to that of Nick Drake.  In addition to playing solo, he is also a member of the Partly Brothers and Eastward Bound, and frequently plays with other area performers.
Together, Tracy and Luti will present an evening of music that will delight listeners!

Barb Barton

If trees sang back-up, they'd be touring with Barb Barton. Barton's music comes from the nameless place that connects brain and heart. As a biologist, she might tell you the location does not exist. As a musician/songwriter, she knows right where it lives, and her music lands precisely on the X at the sweet spot.

Little Princes: One Man's Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of Nepal
(Paperback)
By Conor Grennan
List Price: $14.99
Our Price: $10.49
(Save: $4.50 30%)

One Person Can Make a Difference
In search of adventure, twenty-nine-year-old Conor Grennan traded his day job for a year-long trip around the globe, a journey that began with a three-month stint volunteering at the Little Princes Children's Home, an orphanage in war-torn Nepal.
Conor was initially reluctant to volunteer, unsure whether he had the proper skill, or enough passion, to get involved in a developing country in the middle of a civil war. But he was soon overcome by the herd of rambunctious, resilient children who would challenge and reward him in a way that he had never imagined. When Conor learned the unthinkable truth about their situation, he was stunned: The children were not orphans at all. Child traffickers were promising families in remote villages to protect their children from the civil war-for a huge fee-by taking them to safety. They would then abandon the children far from home, in the chaos of Nepal's capital, Kathmandu.
For Conor, what began as a footloose adventure becomes a commitment to reunite the children he had grown to love with their families, but this would be no small task. He would risk his life on a journey through the legendary mountains of Nepal, facing the dangers of a bloody civil war and a debilitating injury. Waiting for Conor back in Kathmandu, and hopeful he would make it out before being trapped in by snow, was the woman who would eventually become his wife and share his life's work.
Little Princes is a true story of families and children, and what one person is capable of when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. At turns tragic, joyful, and hilarious, Little Princes is a testament to the power of faith and the ability of love to carry us beyond our wildest expectations.
