Artisans' Gallery & Cafe
Our OVC blend this week will be French Roast.  This coffee is deep, smokey, and rich with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, and a touch of peppercorn. But most importantly, though it is our darkest coffee, it is complex and not nearly as dominated by roast flavors as most blends representing this style. Tres bien!  Purchase a bag of French Roast and you will receive "2" punches on your Coffee Club card.  New this year, we have a "Peach" freshly brewed iced tea along with our regular Black Tea.  For the "kid" in you, stop by for our homemade lemonade, makes a great "Arnold Palmer", 1/2 ice tea 1/2 lemonade.  Weekly specials.....
Quiche with fruit (2 varieties each week)+ 12 oz coffee for $5.00
(Assorted) Breakfast scone (3 varieties each week) + 12 oz coffee for $3.00
Sandwich wrap + cold beverage for $7.00

Charlestown Farm We'll have a great selection of just picked vegetables, flowers and herbs grown in Phoenixville, always delicious and chemical free!
Country Time Farm
We're back from our family reunion and look forward to seeing our market frinds on Saturday!

Ellen April Handcrafted Soap
is back at the market this week with their luxurious soap and body products, including a limited selection of their "orphans & uglies". These are perfectly fine soaps that may be the last of their kind, dinged, dented or just cosmetically challenged. They're a great bargain and the perfect way to try Ellen April soap at a reduced price.

Forks Farm
We are picking up two fresh 100% grass fed beeves from the butcher tomorrow so we will be well stocked w/ beef!  Also, by pre-order pastured chicken, free range eggs, farmstead dairy and other fresh goodies.

We're back from vacation and will bring the season's first sweet potatoes.

John and Kira's Chocolates

Brand New Chocolate Oranges! These exquisite creations are filled with a white chocolate ganache, flavored with fresh orange juice, infused orange rind, and a touch of Cointreau. All this is delicately held within a Valrhona 62% dark chocolate shell. Enjoy!

Jenny & Frank's Artisan Gelato

This week, Jenny and Frank's features the return of our Sunrise Espresso Gelato - creamy, bold and delicious!  We'll also continue to offer Cinnamon Honey, Ginger Peach, Rustic Lemon, and Chocolate Supreme Gelati, along with our SubLIME Sorbet (with tarragon)

Mountain View Poultry This weekend our special will be $1.00 off each whole chickens you purchase.

And fall is just around the corner, soup chickens are on the menu again, they are weighing in at 3-4 pounds each, they are priced at $15.00 each or 2 for
$25.00 stocked up while we have them.

The new flock of hens are laying constantly now and eggs are plentiful.  Are chicken pot pies are also plentiful as well as our varieties of our pickled eggs.

North Star Orchard

We hope you loved the (surprise!) early Shinsui Asian pears (what we like to call 'sugar bombs'). We'll might have a few more of them this week, but no guarantees. If we don't, have no fear, the main season of Asian pears will be upon us in just a couple short weeks! We'll also have apples, peaches, nectarines, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, chard, and whatever else is ripe and ready from the garden!

Oley Valley Mushroom  We'll have blackberries along with our mushrooms.  Check out our recipe in the recipe section this week.

Saint Peters Bakery will have a full line of Fresh Breads and Croissants. Due to the summer heat we will only bring pies that are pre-ordered. We are
baking Apple, Peach and Pecan this week. Also, if you will be arriving at the latter end of the Market and want to insure your selection of Breads, we encourage you to preorder with us as well.

Shellbark Hollow Farm
- Have you tried our Marinated Chevre?  A great snack with a baguette from St Peter's Bakery and a glass of your favorite beverage.   We will also have a selection of our spreads, chevre, yogurt, kefir, and for dessert try on of our puddings.

Hello Market Shoppers!

It looks like we will have a beautiful day at the market this Saturday with temperatures in the low 80s. We have a great lineup of farmers this week.  Jacks Farm is back from vacation, Quaff Meadows Farm will bring pasture raised, grass fed lamb and Forks Farm will be bringing lots of beef!  Fruits and vegetables are so plentiful this week.  There is nothing like a vine ripened tomato or a juicy peach that ripened on the tree.  It's easy to eat healthy food when it is so delicious!

If you haven't been to the market for a few weeks, then you may not know that we now have a FOOD TRUCK at the market!  Not just any food truck, but the Sunflower Truck Stop.  Owner and chef George Beiber, buys food at the market and then cooks it up right on site!  You can taste the food and then buy some of the ingredients he used from your favorite farmers and bakers.

Those of you who read the entire newsletter last week probably think that WILD for Salmon is coming this week, but they are NOT.  Literally 5 minutes after I sent last week's newsletter, Jenn Kurian from WILD for Salmon emailed to say that their first market will be September 1st.  They had planned to start in August, but their barge was delayed in Alaska.  We'll have to wait a few weeks for salmon.

Phoenixville Hospital will be at the market this week to give free blood pressure screenings.  Be sure to stop by their table!

See you at the market!
