Artisans' Gallery & Cafe
Special this week...purchase a bag of this week's "special offering" coffee and receive 2 punches on your coffee club card.  OVC coffee this week will be  a bright, flowery, aromatic origin coffee. Sounds more like a meadow on a sunny day than what you would traditionally think of as coffee, but this one has it all and more. From the heart of where coffee is said to have first been savored, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is a delicate coffee truly a treat for the senses. Lightly roasted to maintain the delicate flavors and citrusy tones in the cup, this coffee delivers abundant floral and mouth-watering citrus flavors, with a tea-like quality and a peachy aroma that are not to be missed.

Hello Market Shoppers!

It looks like it will be MUCH cooler at tomorrow's market and for the coming week.  It will be a great week to cook and also to can and freeze some of the great produce at the Market.  Why not pick up some extra tomatoes and make sauce for the winter?  You can check out
for some great tips and ideas by local author and canning expert, Marisa McClellan. We have a few canning and preserving links in our recipe section to help you.

It's the Third Saturday of the month, so the Phoenixville Hospital will join us for health screenings.  Earth Energy Herbs, a natural backyard apothecary will join us as well.  Eating fresh local food is one of the best (and tastiest!) ways to stay healthy.  Be sure to stock up on the colorful and flavorful bounty while it is in season.  And of course, pasture raised meats, dairy and poultry are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids so don't forget to stock on these items too!

See you at the Market!

Looking Ahead

It's hard to believe that August is just around the corner.  We will begin the month with the Green Earth Festivalheld in partnership with the Phoenixville Green Team.  There will be special activities, and educational events.  The Green Team is looking for volunteers to help set-up, take-down and man several stations during the day.  If you are interested in volunteering,  please email Carrie Makoid, one of the Green Team volunteers coordinating this great event.
