News from our Producers....

Artisans' Gallery & Cafe
-
Looks like it's going to be a great weekend to stop by Artisans for our "Arnold Palmer" specialty - 1/2 freshly brewed ice tea and 1/2 Alex's Lemonade! Featured coffee this weekend will be Columbia Sierra Nevada.  The coffee is grown in volcanic soil at altitudes which reach as high as 5200 feet above sea level. Becoming an organic co-op has helped these farmers to grow ecologically friendly crops as well as improve living conditions for their families. Along with our bags of coffee, we will have a large selection of our one-of-kind artist mugs for sale this weekend.  For a lighter breakfast try our Seven Star Yogurt & Marci's Morsels granola.

New this year at the market we will be featuring a  "pairing of 2" products for 1 price.

*Quiche with fruit (2 verities each week)+ 12 oz coffee for $5.00
*(Assorted) Breakfast scone + 12 oz coffee for $3.00
* Sandwich wrap + cold beverage for $7.00

Charlestown Farm  We still have our tender greens.  To quote one of our CSA members, "I can't believe how different lettuce can taste! It's amazingly fresh and flavorful."  We're excited to bring our first summer squash too!

North Star Orchard returns this week and will be at the Market for the rest of the season.  Oley Valley Mushrooms will NOT be at the Market this week, but they plan to return next week.  Vera Pasta and Marci's Morsels return this week too.  They come on selected Saturdays.

With Memorial Day behind us and Father's Day ahead, the official grilling season has begun.  Be sure to stock up on your favorite meats for grilling and don't forget about the veggies.  Summer squash is coming in and it tastes great when grilled.  We've got some great recipes to get you started.  For an easy dessert, why not stock up on artisan gelato and super healthy fruit popsicles!

Be sure to stop by the Market Table (next to the children's area) to learn about growing plants for the bees.  Dagmar Holl will share her knowledge and her seeds!

You can check out some photos of tomorrow's artist's work in the producer section below.

See you tomorrow at the Market!
