Hello Market Shoppers!
The weather will be absolutely gorgeous on Saturday, April 14th, and we hope you will stop by our market from 10am to noon to pick up some great local food. Most of our regulars will be here this week, and WILD for Salmon said that although they plan to come back to the April 28th market, this is the last one where they know they will have a lot of product to sell.
Pureblend Tea will be here with some great tea flavors and Jack's Farm will have some great herb plants as well as blueberries and raspberries.
Backyard Bison is not able to make it, because farmer Rod Weider will be at the state championship of Odyssey of the Mind with the team that he coaches. Good luck Rod! He will return on April 28th.
Ellen April Soap will return to the market in May and she sent us this message, "Ellen April is not participating in the Winter markets this year, instead they are hard at work testing scent blends and creating new soaps for the coming market season. But that doesn't mean that you have to suffer with store-bought soap. They will be happy to fill an order for you. Just email Ellen at soap@ellenapril.com to place an order. "
We are gearing up for a great main season and are looking forward to our opening day on May 5th when we will celebrate with a Festival for our Honeybees.
See you at the Market!!

Artisans' Cafe Rosemarie Holck
This week's featured OVC's coffee is Colombia Sierra Neva. The group of farmers who grow this amazing Colombian do so with the goals of protecting the environment and keeping equilibrium in the ecosystem. The age old methods they use to grow such great coffee were taught to them by their "older brothers" of Arhuaco ethnicity. They call their coffee "kia" which is an Arhuaco word meaning natural or authentic. This coffee is a testament to their hard work. The Colombia Sierra Nevada is clean in the cup with flavors of citrus, herbs and vanilla. As a bonus, if you purchase a bag of this week's featured coffee, you will receive 2 punches on your Coffee Club Card. We will also have additional selection of OVC beans, Smart Blend, Columbia, Evening Blend, Ethiopian, Artisans (house blend) and more. Why not try something different!. If the weather permits, and right now it looks like it will, we will be bring iced tea & iced coffee!
If you get a chance visit the Gallery and check out our featured exhibit of the collective works from the students & teachers at Chester Springs Studio ceramic classes. While there, you can pickup a brochure of the Spring and Summer classes for adults and children at Chester Springs.
