Hello Market Shoppers!

In spite of the fact that it feels almost like summer today, our second to last Winter Market will be on April 10th from 10am to 11am.  In a little more than a month, on May 8th, we will welcome the start of our regular season with longer hours, live music and children's activities- we can't wait!

In the meantime, we have lots of great food coming to the April 10th Market.

Shellbark Hollow will be bringing their Crottin de Chevre to the market.  It is a ripened cheese with a mild taste.  As it ripens it develops a beautiful rind, creamy inside and the taste becomes a bit stronger.

Marci's Morsels will be bringing some of the best gluten-free baked goods I have ever tasted

Jack's Farm will have local produce

Don't forget to read this email to see what is available, make your list, contact the farmers to place your orders, and then come to our regular location between 10 am and 11 am on Saturday to pick up your delicious, local food.  You might even see your neighbors and market friends.

If you are on Facebook, visit our Facebook page and become a fan of the market.  We post interesting information about local food, farming and nutrition there, in addition to photos of the market and farmers!
See you at the Market!

Helpful Hint:  This newsletter is packed with information.  You can click on a vendor's name on the sidebar to go directly to his or her product list.

Looking Ahead

Backyard Bison will return on April 24th, as will Forks Farm.    We are busy planning for the opening of the regular season and will welcome some wonderful new producers.  Look for much more information in the next few weeks.
