Hello Market Shoppers!
This Saturday will be the last holiday market of 2009 and we have so many special items for gift giving, parties and holiday meals. First and foremost, we have a full array of locally grown and produced food. From apples, arugula and parsnips to beef, pork, poultry, buffalo and salmon, to bread and cookies to fudge, the last Holiday market is the perfect place to buy food for a sustainable holiday celebration. This week we welcome new providers, Jim and Sue Myers, of Ridge Valley Farm, who make local maple syrup, maple cream, and other delicious maple products! If you are interested in ordering Goldrush apples from Northstar Orchard, please note that the deadline to order is early Friday morning. You can click here to place your order.
Several local artisans will also bring unique items they have crafted. Be sure to stop by their tables to see what they have to offer.
There may a few snowflakes on Saturday, but that won't keep the farmers away. We hope it won't keep you away either.
See you at the Market!

Looking Ahead- See you in January!
We will have our first Winter Market on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from 10am to 11am. The Winter Markets are a little bit different. Some of the producers sell a full array of their products just as they do during the regular season, others bring only pre-ordered items, and still others bring items for sale as well as pre-orders. You will receive an email about a week before each of the Winter Markets with complete information about who is coming, what they are bringing, and how it will be sold. If you have a friend or neighbor who might be interested in buying locally produced food, please forward this email to them so they can sign up to find out about the Winter Markets.
2009 has been a great year at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market, thanks to all of you loyal shoppers who want to eat great food and support a local economy, environmental stewardship and humane treatment of animals and people. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2010 and hope to see you at the Market!
