Hello Market Shoppers,

We are looking forward to another break in the weather this weekend, but just in case it is raining, we are a rain/shine market.
Forks Farm is returning this weekend with their delicious grass-fed beef, check out the recipe of the week for Mexican Spice-rubbed rib eyes with lime butter- sounds like a winner for you to enjoy on Father's Day
One Village Chief Roaster, Woodrow DeCasere, will be joining Artisans Gallery & Cafe to provide a "tasting" of One Village's single origin coffee.     Woody will be there with samples and to answer any questions or provide information about One Village, our local roaster.  In addition, they will be bringing a large selection of 1 lb bags of any of One Village's blended coffees.  Don't forget your "Coffee Coupon" .  When you purchase 6 one pound bags of coffee at the Market,  you get 1/2 pound free.
Marci's Morsels will be welcoming a new baby morsel any day now.  They expect to be at the market this weekend, but after the baby arrives, while Anna is on maternity leave, you can buy her sweet treats from Whole Hearted Bakery.
Country Time Farm, our fabulous pork providers, will not be at the market next week, June 27th,  and on July 11th, so be sure to plan accordingly.

A special request:  Do you, or your friends, have a hand truck or cart that is collecting dust?  We could put it to good use at the market!

Recipe
Mexican Spice-Rubbed Rib Eyes with Lime Butter

This Father's Day is all about beef at my house...  this recipe is from Food and Wine magazine.

Ingredients
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sweet paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons chipotle powder
Four 12-ounce, 1-inch thick, boneless rib eye steaks
Vegetable oil, for the grill

Directions
Light a grill or preheat a grill pan. In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, lime zest, lime juice and a pinch of salt. In another bowl, combine the paprika, cumin and chipotle powder with 1 1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt. Rub the mixture all over the steaks.
Oil the grate and grill the steaks over moderately high heat, turning once, until slightly charred and medium-rare, about 12 minutes. Transfer the steaks to plates and top with the lime butter. Let the steaks stand for 3 to 4 minutes before serving.
